Position Title: Operations Coordinator

External Description:

The operations coordinator is accountable for managing, gathering, maintaining, and analyzing provider data and accurately tracking all provider network development activities for the network operations team. 

General Duties/Responsibilities
(May include but are not limited to):

  • Manage provider data required for provider network development.
  • Gather and validate provider roster data from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Utilize Excel and analytical skills to compare and evaluate provider data.
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets to accurately and timely track network development activities.
  • Create weekly summaries of network development activities for management.
  • Ensure presented data is accurate and complete or can clearly document data gaps.
  • Respond to and assists the network operations team with research and reporting needed to complete projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience:

  1. Background of 1-2 years in insurance, healthcare or managed care preferred.

Education/Licensure:

  1. High School Diploma required
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Other:

  1. Must possess excellent project management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication required.
  3. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
