Alignment Healthcare is seeking a full-time Dental Project Manager to join its Product team.  Located in Orange, CA, the Dental Project Manager is focused on leading our dental product implementations and managing ongoing projects in support of our company goals and growth. The Dental Project Manager role is focused on leading our dental product processes, which includes implementing all new and existing process solutions, driving project plans, and overseeing all aspects of our dental related engagements and initiatives. The Dental Project Manager will formulate project plans end to end, perform data analysis, collate findings, and drive execution of recommendations in partnership with operations teams and vendor partners. The Dental Project Manager will work closely with the business and be a key contributor to expanding our strategic vision. In this role the Dental Project Manager will partner with Clinical, Marketing, Sales, Member Services, Technology departments to formulate and execute plans to ensure seamless and timely execution of all deliverables within budget.

 

General Duties/Responsibilities:

 

• Serve as Product point of contact for designing Dental Benefits, including overseeing bid submission process.
• Contract direct with Dental Offices to add to Alignment Health Plan direct provider network.
• Oversee all aspects of dental related initiatives and projects including managing our ASO dental plan and working closely with our vendor partners.
• Develop project work plans by setting project scope, defining tasks and objectives, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities to key stakeholders, and procuring resources.
• Execute activities by leading interdisciplinary workgroups in analyzing, planning, and implementing dental related projects. Effectively facilitates teams and manages relationships.
• Monitor and control work by measuring progress/risk and correcting course when activities go beyond scope, budget, or are not meeting goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project work plans, project summaries, and calendars.
• Help formulate strategic vision with senior management for member experience in alignment business planning process.
• Analyze and summarize data to drive business insight; Build dashboards for ongoing performance management
• Conduct outreach to Dental Offices for oversight and audit to make sure providers know they are contracted with Alignment Health Plan
• Other Duties as Assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field, required.
2. 2+ Years of healthcare or project management experience
3. PMP or similar Project Management certification
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to perform data analysis/research and summarize key findings in presentation.
5. Demonstrated track record of generating results, translating knowledge to cross-functional departments, and having an impact on organizations
6. Positive team player, Structured and detail-oriented thinker
7. Proven problem solving skills and ability to translate knowledge to the department.

Preferred Requirements:

1. Dental product administration experience
2. Experience with data visualization software preferred (including PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik)
3. Basic SQL preferred
