Position Summary:

Alignment Healthcare is seeking a full-time Senior Director of Product and Network Implementation to join our team. The Senior Director of Product and Network Implementation will be responsible for driving Alignment’s product implementation in new and existing markets and the development of provider networking strategies to support and grow Alignment's offerings.

The Senior Director of Product and Network Implementation will be focused on the implementation of Alignment Healthcare products from ideation to post-launch optimization and the operational development of Network initiatives to help grow existing and new provider partnerships with Alignment Healthcare. They will be the driving force behind Product and Network implementation efforts to ensure that initiatives align with organizational goals and create sustainable products and relationships that support company growth.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate across Product and Network teams to develop strategic plans for the design, implementation, and management of new plan benefit packages and network initiatives from conception to post-launch; determine appropriate positioning across geographic markets

 

  • Develop and execute project plans for multiple products while monitoring product performance, competitive environment, budget, and compliance within appropriate timelines

 

  • Oversee the execution of deliverables, such as product bid filings, benefit design changes, the product design and implementation of new product initiatives released by CMS

 

  • End to end accountability for the development and execution of comprehensive project plans for the successful implementation of Network initiatives;  oversee the operating structure to ensure efficient and cost-effective relationships that meet Alignment Healthcare’s goals
  • Maintain efficient daily operations by coordinating team expectations; enforcing policies and procedures; developing and revising workflows; troubleshooting operational issues with other internal teams, providers, vendors, etc.
  • Perform periodic analyses of the provider network from a cost, coverage, and growth perspective to identify opportunities for change or expansion to meet organizational goals
  • Research, identify, and execute new vendor agreements to support development of core and supplemental plan offerings
  • Perform other position duties as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  1. 8-10 years of experience in management consulting, product innovation, product management or network implementation; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

 

  1. Education Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University

 

  1. Proven track record with results in three or more of the following areas required: Product Development, Market Strategy, Market Research or Risk Management

 

  1. All-inclusive thinker who is able to create a bridge between larger organizational goals and daily on-the-ground operations.

 

  1. Effective communicator who is able to convey knowledge to cross-functional teams in a comprehensible manner

  1. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to translate knowledge effectively within and across teams
