Position Summary:

Alignment is looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to join its team. This individual will be responsible driving marketing strategies in key growth markets. They will also be responsible for the development and management of marketing materials utilized by internal and external sales teams (AHC employed agents, FMO agencies and direct contracted agents) for the purpose of lead generation.

 

Scope of position includes. reporting, planning and budgeting (in conjunction with marketing leadership), procurement of printed materials, supplies and services, directs the research and sourcing of reliable sources of supplies for non-contracted services, oversees the review and processing of expenses, identifies products and commodities for possible future contracting opportunities for strategic sourcing and/or GPO contracting.

 

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to): 

 

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive growth in key markets
  • Develop go to market channel execution plan including proposed budget, conversion targets, and partnerships.
  • Analyze sales and marketing results by channel to inform growth acquisition strategies
  • Manage the procurement of all printed materials, promotional items, and supplies
  • Manage indirect purchases for respective market/state to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Manage issues and projects that require time-critical resolution and interact regularly with marketing leadership to ensure the marketing department is achieving planned results in programs, budgets, and schedules
  • Manage strategic programs and initiatives as necessary to plan, execute, and/or implement changes related to complex issues with scope extending across Marketing and related functions
  • Oversight of non-contracted services, supplies, equipment, marketing planning and budgeting process
  • Creation and management of initiatives to gather and disseminate internal and external marketing best practices
  • Continually monitors the well-being of the Marketing function and acts as an advisor to marketing leadership on Marketing functional issues
  • Develops, implements, and manages purchasing objectives, policies, and procedures for the procurement of and contracting for all indirect purchases, materials, supplies, equipment, and services
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Reviews solicitation documents, performance reports and other required documents and recommends any necessary changes or improvements to ensure compliance with approved Procurement Policy

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees assigned staff. Responsibilities include: recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; assigning workload; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; and coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

 

Minimum Requirements:

1.       Minimum Experience: 

a.       8 to 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience

2.       Education/Licensure: 

a.       Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University

3.       Other: 

      1. Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage marketing and communications guidelines 
      2. Must possess a knowledge of healthcare operations and supply management approaches for different portfolios and supply chain management principles and practices
      3. Must possess excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation and project management skills
      4. Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to work with a variety of disciplines; (i.e. senior management, peers, subordinates, and vendors)
